Private Family Interventions · Available 24/7

Someone has to get through to them. Let it be someone who made it out.

When someone you love is lost to drugs or alcohol, you don’t need another lecture. You need a plan, a steady hand, and someone who has walked out of that darkness himself. We guide your family from the first phone call to the day they walk into treatment, and long after.

Who We Help

You’ve tried everything.
You don’t have to keep trying alone.

Most families who call us have spent months, often years, hoping it would get better on its own. The conversations haven’t worked. The promises haven’t held. We step in when love alone isn’t enough.

For Parents

When it’s your son or daughter

You’ve watched the child you raised disappear a little at a time. The missed calls. The money that doesn’t add up. The fear every time the phone rings late at night. Whether they’re 17 or 37, they are still your child, and you still get to fight for them.

  • Teens, college students, and adult children
  • Coordination with schools, employers, and existing care
  • Guidance for parents who disagree on what to do next

For Spouses

When it’s your husband and the father of your children

You’ve been holding the household together, protecting the kids from what’s really going on, and keeping up appearances for friends, family, and his career. You shouldn’t have to carry that by yourself, and you don’t have to choose between your marriage and your children’s wellbeing.

  • Discreet planning around work, reputation, and privacy
  • Age-appropriate guidance on what to tell your children
  • Executive and professional treatment options

Our Approach

Firm enough to create change.
Kind enough to be heard.

01

Lived Experience

Your loved one won’t be talking to a stranger reading from a script. They’ll be talking to someone who used to sit exactly where they’re sitting, and who can tell them, honestly, that there is a way out.

02

The Whole Family

Addiction reshapes everyone in the house. We prepare every family member for intervention day and give you the tools to stop enabling, set boundaries, and heal alongside the person you love.

03

Absolute Discretion

Your family’s privacy is protected at every step. No one needs to know. Not the neighbors, not his colleagues, not the country club. We work quietly, on your schedule, wherever you are.

Services

One point of contact,
from crisis to recovery.

Family Intervention

A structured, compassionate, professionally-led intervention designed around your loved one’s personality and history, built to get a “yes” to treatment the same day.

Treatment Placement & Advocacy

We match your loved one with a vetted, reputable program that fits their needs, and help you understand insurance, private-pay, and executive treatment options.

Sober Transport & Companionship

The hours between “yes” and admission matter most. We personally escort your loved one door-to-door, by car or by air, so there’s no chance to change their mind.

Case Management & Aftercare

We stay in contact with the treatment team, keep you informed, and help plan discharge: sober living, outpatient care, and accountability for the months that follow.

Family Recovery Coaching

Practical, one-on-one support for parents and spouses: how to set boundaries, how to talk to your kids, and how to rebuild trust once your loved one comes home.

Not sure what you need?

Most families aren’t. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll help you figure out the right next step. No pressure, no obligation.

Talk It Through

The Process

What happens after you reach out.

  1. Confidential Consultation

A private call to understand your situation, your loved one, and what you’ve already tried. You’ll leave the call with clarity, even if you decide not to move forward.

  2. Family Preparation

We meet with the people who matter most, help each person prepare what they want to say, and plan for every response, including “no.”

  3. Treatment Arranged in Advance

Before intervention day, a bed is secured, insurance is verified, and travel is ready. When they say yes, there’s nothing left to wait for.

  4. Intervention Day

We lead a calm, loving, and direct conversation. We’re not there to shame anyone. We’re there to show them, clearly, how much they are loved and what has to change.

  5. Transport, Admission & Beyond

We escort them to treatment, stay in touch with the clinical team, and continue supporting your family through recovery and the return home.

Meet Cody Menk, Founder

“I know every excuse, every promise, every lie.
I told them all.”

Addiction took years from me. It cost me relationships, trust, and very nearly everything else. What saved me was people who refused to give up on me, and someone who had been there showing me that a different life was actually possible.

I started Menk Motivated Interventions to be that person for someone else. When I sit down with your son, your daughter, or your husband, I’m not there to judge them. I’m there to tell them the truth, with love, as someone who has lived it, and to walk with your family every step of the way.

Getting sober gave me my life back. Helping families find the same freedom is how I give it forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions families ask us most.

Do interventions actually work?

A well-planned, professionally-led intervention gives your loved one the clearest possible choice and the easiest possible path to say yes. Treatment is arranged before the conversation ever starts, and your family is prepared for every response. Even when someone isn’t ready on day one, families leave with boundaries and a plan, which often leads to a yes soon after.

What if they get angry or refuse?

That’s normal, and we plan for it. We prepare each family member for resistance and help you hold firm, loving boundaries. A “no” on intervention day is not the end of the process. Often it’s the beginning of real change.

My husband is a successful professional. Won’t this ruin his career?

Untreated addiction is far more dangerous to a career than treatment. We work with complete discretion, can recommend programs designed specifically for executives and licensed professionals, and help plan around work obligations whenever possible.

What should I tell our children?

Children usually sense more than we think. We’ll help you decide what’s age-appropriate to share, how to answer their questions honestly, and how to support them while their parent is in treatment.

My child is an adult. Can we still do this?

Yes. Most of the interventions we lead involve adult children. You can’t force an adult into treatment, but a well-prepared family can make the choice to get help far more compelling than the choice not to.

Where do you work, and how quickly can you help?

We’re based in South Florida and travel nationwide. We’re available 24/7, and in urgent situations we can often begin planning within a day of your first call.

Is everything confidential?

Completely. What you share with us stays with us. We never use family names or stories without explicit permission.
